The Thorne Foundation was founded in 2007 by Jimmie Thorne and a few good friends who saw the need for assistance that helps those who want a better quality of life.  We strive to help those less fortunate with access to the tools, training, and support they need to be more effective and make our world a better place. We are based in Accra, Ghana, West Africa one of the most democratic countries on the continent.

Over the years, we have provided clean drinking water, school supplies, clothes and funding to many villages in the country’s northern region and surrounding areas. Our mission is to promote and educate the people about the environment and the importance of education. We have made many friendships and changed many lives and will endeavor  to do the same in the future. Your help is needed more than ever to move forward with our projects.
